Also check to see if the text style in the xref shares the same name of a text style in the host drawing, because then the host text style might be controlling its properties. WebJan 23, 2011 · If "show annotation objects" is not on (bottom right) in your layout (which sometimes you don't want it to be), then an annotative hatch will only show up in viewports that match the scale that is attached to the hatch in model space. You can attach more than one scale to an annotative hatch.

Select your dimension, click annotative scale in properties palette. You should see available scales for your dimension. Add the scale so your dimension can be visible when you use the scale in your viewport.
