They are not particularly tough, but lots have had good luck with them. I prefer the standard 100-grain Interlock and shot well over 100 deer with them, from a 6mm Rem.

We've had problems at both close and long range with them. They shoot great, but seem to be pretty random when it comes to terminal performance. I used them in my .30 Nosler. Shot a cow at 327 yards. Bullet broke apart and put a football size hole coming out. Lower energy calibers maybe they are fine.
