WebI would much rather have Gengar, Lucario, Dragonite and even Sierfetch'd. Since the writers insisted on Ash gettimg new mons, i am glad he caught Dragonite, Lucario, Gengar and Sirfetch'd. I would have replaced Dracovish with something like Clefable to give Ash a powerful fairy type. But i would keep the rest of the team the same.
